Your stack, connected

CMS, social and SEO tools in one vault

Citeme does not just tell you what to fix; it fixes it where your content lives. Connect your tools once, keys encrypted with AES-256, and let agents and workflows act through them.

011

CMS publishing

Webflow is the most complete connector. You authorise the Citeme application from your Webflow account over OAuth, with no key to copy by hand, and your collections are detected automatically on return; access tokens are stored encrypted, and access can be revoked at any time, from Citeme or from Webflow. Three consolidated nodes then appear in the builder, named after the action rather than the technical object. Manage a Webflow blog post creates, edits, publishes or archives an item in your CMS collection. Optimise a Webflow page covers SEO title, description, social preview, structured data, hreflang and image alt text in a single node: you fill only what you want to change, the rest is left intact. The site-wide action publishes the site, declares your brand to the models, or chooses which AI crawlers may read it, GPTBot, Claude and Perplexity among them. WordPress connects over the REST API with an application password, which needs WordPress 5.6 or later and no mandatory plugin. Shopify is the limit: the connection exists today, the publishing nodes do not yet.

022

Social distribution

LinkedIn, X and Medium are each documented, and each behaves differently enough to matter. LinkedIn is an OAuth connection asking for the w_member_social permission, and it publishes to a personal profile: company pages are not supported, and the access token expires after sixty days, so the connection has to be renewed. X uses an application with read and write permissions, and it needs a paid tier of the X API because the free tier cannot write at all. Medium works from an integration token generated in your Medium security settings, and it only ever creates a draft: an approved blog suggestion lands there and you publish it yourself. The writing and the shipping are the same flow, since the copilot already produces LinkedIn posts, X threads and blog articles as suggestions, each with a status that moves from pending to approved to applied. What none of the three is, is a connector for a brand account you manage on someone else’s behalf.

033

Indexing & SEO tools

Google Search Console connects through a Google Cloud service account: you enable the Indexing API, add the service account address as an owner of the property in Search Console, then upload its JSON key in the Citeme integration settings. From then on, a URL that Citeme has just optimised is submitted to Google for priority reindexing on its own, inside the API quota of 200 requests per day, which is the number to keep in mind before wiring a workflow that touches hundreds of pages. Google Ads connects over OAuth and feeds the other end of the loop: search volume data points at the queries worth competing for and weights your keywords automatically, so prompt discovery leans on measured demand rather than on intuition. GitHub covers the teams whose pages live in a repository. A fine-grained token scoped to Contents and Pull Requests, read and write, on the target repository only, lets Citeme open a Pull Request carrying the JSON-LD, the metadata and the structured data it recommends, ready to read and merge, so a technical fix goes through the review your team already runs.

044

Notifications

Slack messages, team emails and in-app alerts, wired into any workflow step so the right people know when something ships.

055

Encrypted key vault

Keys live in a dedicated integration system, not in environment variables and not in a plaintext column. They are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, a mode that authenticates as well as encrypts: direct access to the database server leaves the keys unreadable, and any attempt to modify them is detected. The encryption keys themselves are held in a separate KMS, isolated from the application database, so compromising the database alone is not enough to decrypt anything. Decryption is just in time: the audit worker asks the KMS for the key, the key is decrypted in memory for the few milliseconds of the provider API call, then wiped. It is never written to disk, never logged, never sent to the browser. The dashboard shows you only the last four characters. Revocation from settings is immediate and interrupts any audit already running on that key. Citeme also scans public GitHub repositories continuously and revokes a leaked key in its own cm_live_ format outright, notifying the owner by email. Rotation every 90 days stays a recommendation, so it stays your move.

066

Least-privilege scopes

Access to credentials follows role, and no role reads a key in clear. Owner and Admin see the last four characters, can replace a key and can run audits. An Editor can launch audits that use the keys in the background but can never see, modify or export them. A Reader can do neither. Every access to a secret is logged with a timestamp, the user identifier, the source IP and the action performed, and those logs are immutable and kept for twelve months. The infrastructure applies the same principle: the public zone, dashboard and API gateway, has no access to secrets; the compute zone runs audit workers in isolated containers whose network is restricted to pre-authorised model APIs and cannot reach the open internet; the data zone, database and KMS, is reachable only from the compute zone over encrypted tunnels. Connectors ask for narrow scopes too. A Shopify custom app needs write_products, write_content and read_themes. A GitHub fine-grained token needs Contents and Pull Requests, read and write, on the target repository only.

Connect once, automate forever

From insight to live page, in one flow

The point of an integration is to close the loop. An audit finds a gap, an agent writes the fix, and the publishing node pushes it straight to your CMS as a draft or a live page, with JSON-LD and a Search Console submission attached.

No copy-pasting between tools, no losing the optimization in a backlog. Connect your stack once and every workflow can act on it, securely and with a full trail.
