AI Visibility Checker
Find out whether AI engines cite you, where in their answers, and who is cited instead of you. Your first GEO audit is free, across all ten engines, with the full dimension breakdown.
The audit runs inside the Citeme app, so an account is required to launch it.
What is an AI visibility checker?
An AI visibility checker measures the place your brand occupies inside AI-generated answers, rather than its rank in a list of links. It asks a question classic SEO cannot answer: when a buyer questions an AI engine about your market, does it cite your content, or your competitors?
The answer breaks into three measurements. Citation frequency, meaning how many answers name you. Position inside the answer, primary source or supporting mention. And sentiment, meaning the vocabulary the engine attaches to your brand. A score without those three layers flags a problem without pointing at a fix.
The ten engines checked
The same prompts are sent to every engine at once, in the region you target.
| Engine | Access | Why it counts |
|---|---|---|
| ChatGPT | Official API | The widest consumer reach, with live retrieval on recent versions. |
| Claude | Official API | Heavily used inside work tools, where buying research happens. |
| Gemini | Official API | Blends training data and live retrieval across Google surfaces. |
| Perplexity | Official API | Fetches and cites live web pages in almost every answer. |
| Grok 4.3 | Official API | Draws on real-time posts alongside indexed content. |
| Google AI Overviews | SERP capture | The AI answer the largest audience actually sees, above the classic results. |
| Siri AI | Official API | The assistant surface on iOS 27. |
| DeepSeek | Official API | Growing fast outside the US market. |
| Meta AI | Official API | Embedded across the Meta apps. |
| Mistral | Official API | The European model most often shortlisted in EU procurement. |
The eight scored dimensions
The GEO Score is not an opaque number: each dimension is weighted, explained and paired with a fix.
- AI discoverability20%
- JSON-LD structured data15%
- Metadata & Open Graph15%
- HTML structure10%
- Content depth & freshness10%
- Semantic coherence10%
- Web presence & authority10%
- Security, speed & robots10%
AI discoverability carries the most weight because an engine that cannot read your pages will never cite them, whatever the content quality.

Only targeting Google?
This page covers all ten engines. If your demand sits entirely on Google AI Overviews, the AI surface the largest audience sees, four specific metrics matter: trigger rate, citation rate, citation rank position and competitor share of voice.
See the AI Overviews tracker →Checking is the starting point. Staying cited is the work.
Citeme monitors your brand across the ten engines, fixes the gaps with content agents and publishes the optimizations to your CMS, from one dashboard.
Frequently asked questions
An AI visibility checker measures whether AI engines mention and cite your brand when someone asks them a question in your market. It is a different measurement from a rank tracker: there is no list of ten blue links to occupy, only one generated answer and the two or three sources it names. A useful checker therefore answers three questions at once. Are you cited at all? Where in the answer, as the primary source or as a passing mention? And who is cited instead of you? Anything that returns a single number without those three layers tells you that something is wrong but not what to change.
